Only thing that was messed up was he didn't help out that dudes mother with some of his prize money, that and the wild hair dye
Other than that I felt the ending totally made sense as far as him being dead inside, not living his best life with the prize money, the old man being so good at all the games, ect ect

I do like that it was like the Milgram experiment meets the Zambardo experiment with a dash of the horrors of abu Gharib and Guantanamo but unless you really gonna break down the why of the guards , front man , old man, policing , cop and prison system just leave it

They left the ending on a cliff hanger so they could potentially put out a sequel, I think most people wanted a full resolution and the catharsis from it.

Had we got that it peolly woulda involved the cops showing up and interrupting the game. To me that woulda been a worse ending. I woulda thought ppl would be hyped one of their fav shows is gonna get a season 2 lol
