Just finished. I enjoyed it but felt like it left a lot to be desired in terms of character development and a lot of the twists were pretty predictable.

I feel like every video I see on Tik tok is about this show and it seems like some Netflix paid viral marketing campaign

It was good but borderline mid..

A bit too heavy handed on the exposition for a Korean piece like the really obvious flashbacks just spoon feeding information.
The absolutely awful VIP scenes killed it for me, the most generic white actors with some amateur ass deliveries.

The length, concept and opening episodes were great. I really admired the slow pacing at first. Very mysterious at first but I REALLY didn’t like how they exposed every detail. The mystery or some aspects of it should’ve remained.

With Netflix, I feel like when a creator comes to them with an idea, it has a good chance of being interesting (Stranger Things, Dark, Cobra Kai).

A lot of the generic mid on Netflix comes from them buying a property, hiring a show runner they can boss around and taking complete control over the project (The Witcher, Shadow & Bone, Jupiter’s Legacy)
