crazy to me that people wanna skip installments to get to the new one, i cant even watch a movie without going through six or seven parts that came out before that i might not even care for

eh, even the naming suggests they wanted this to be a reboot of sorts, they didn’t call it stalker 4 (even though it is) for a reason

Even if I forget all characters and lore, everything in this story makes sense, and it’s a new narrative with a new protagonist just like a lot of game series do it, although yes the location here is returning. It’s almost akin to botw/totk.

I was just running to my destination, not a thought in my skull, then suddenly an achievement pops up for running from a chimera. I have no clue what a chimera even is, so I turn around, see a huge beast I’ve never seen before and die instantly

barely 5 hours in and im already fully kitted out with a shotgun, sub machine, rifle and silenced okus a real suit n gas mask AND I also already have my storage chest fully filled with half of a 2nd kit the smaller ak 74, sawed off shotgun n pistol

and i ugraded all my weapons on me n got two scopes one bought the holographic and the acog from some mission

Got my first exoskeleton, 5 legendary artifacts on my belt, mainly using merc + sledgehammer and just chewing through mutants and poltergeists now, I’m having the time of my life It’s peak, to say the least

those guides in every town take you between the towns, I always assumed it was just a guy who would tag along with you but it’s actually instant fast travel. I guess the game was so immersive I just assumed.
