Aiming feels so much better on Xbox after the update

1.01 just dropped, some notable changes:

• Weapons and armor repair cost is decreased.
• ⁠Money reward for most missions is increased from 2 to 3 times.
• ⁠Armor durability is increased by 12.5 percent
• ⁠Corrected flashlight behavior after saving/loading.
• ⁠Fixed inconsistencies with weapon and armor upgrade effects, including pricing and upgrade reversals.
• ⁠Slightly increased knife melee distance.
• ⁠Increased gamepad dead zones
• ⁠Reduced some mission items’ weight

Also a bunch of quest bugs, crashes, etc have all been fixed. Overall very impressive for a first patch.

traversing through the swamps is a real challenge. even almost dying to an emission

my saves are back now btw, idk if new update fixed that but game is running flawlessly for me now

The atmosphere in this game is off the chain. Probably some of the best weather effects and sound design I’ve seen in a game, the world really feels alive, and dead, at the same time.

Wanna play again but seems like from the reddit there is still a monster that’s overpowered and takes like 7 clips to kill

The little mages are terrifying

Will pull my gun away from me and sometimes it'll just disappear so I have to reload my save lol

Should I play the second game or the first one? Was leaning towards the first. Also, what’s this game like, in terms of flow and gameplay mechanics. Is there quests, or story? Or is it mostly just survival on the map with minimal story?

“stalker 1” is a trilogy btw, I’ve played some of the trilogy but it’s not super necessary to play those first. I recognize some characters and references but it’s not necessary at all. S2 is a great game to be introduced to the world of stalker, I’m having a blast and I haven’t completed the og trilogy yet but I will after this

Veteran, the rifle you get from the journalist stash, it’s beautiful. Don’t pass up that stash when you’re near Zaton my new fav

Also at wild island be sure to do the zombie on the roof quest you get an upgraded artifact detector it’s a lot better. There’s prob other ways to find new detectors but I haven’t found any others yet

Well I’m wondering which is the better game mainly I’ll play either but stalker 1 seems more appealing for some reason

well you can’t go wrong with any game in this series, it’s incredible

also there's another gun in Zaton that's incredible called Clusterfuck, AR-sniper hybrid (DMR)

have to do a few side missions to unlock the mission that has it, but it's insane

nah the Bear detector, Hilka is cool too tho
