it’s fuego tbh, loving the game design. the vast open world that’s mostly just an apocalyptic hellscape is awesome, reminds me of my favorite fallout games and of course the classic stalker games. exploration is fun and it feels thoroughly hand crafted (so far). The guns all feel amazing, and there’s a lot, hopefully there’s a steady flow of new guns throughout.

Game is incredibly beautiful and very immersive. I think FSR frame generation is bugged, it makes the game run smooth as butter but it causes some weird problem where it just randomly freezes for a second every while or so, just enough to be ridiculous

No indicators . Enemy factions and monsters blend into the environment . S*** has me on edge

so yea upping the brightness and gamma helped

and i understand the monster you see on the death screens supposed to be an invisible teleporter (which...ok lol)

but i got to the second scanning site and an invisible (non death screen) monster kept killing me so i dashboarded and uninstalled

i can deal w difficulty (srs) and i can deal w jank (also srsly)

both at the same times a bridge too far man f*** this s*** ill run it back in like april

personally dont understand the logic of ammo/inventory being precious while you also cant sneak past/run away until aggro drops from monsters so you have to fight everyone...maybe theres mechanics im not understanding??

didnt play the first, roughly understood this to be fallout on survival w a smaller inventory

They’re gonna fix it, it exists but there’s some problem with it apparently

youre overthinking it the ammo is not that precious, theres tons of common ammo everywhere you can use for kills

aight so check this out, and i dont know if thats how you normally play fallout but i started applying this strategy from first playing stalker to fallout as well. so for every 'mission' you are planning to do you look into what type of ammo youll encounter on any given location (its wasnt hard to learn back then but idk about this new one) and you get from your stash this type of ammo and then some meds and thats it. you pick up the rest from whoever you end up killing and various secret stashes at the location. you fill out the stash by f***ing around or trading or doing said missions. i think what im describing is very obvious but lmk if you do it differently

Either way gotta wait for ps5 version so hopefully it’s all ironed out by then

i was skeptical prior to release but watching streams now and i cant wait til its on sale and they fix up most common bugs so i can nolife in that b**** the whole winter

Oh oh and heres the real protip which i hope they didnt fix for stalker 2: find a dead body next to the exit from location and stash all of your loot in that body. then just carry that body with you, boom, unlimited weight until you get to your stash/trader and offload
