if you've only watched a bit a Clone Wars, is Tales of the Jedi cool to check out?
They are fairly self contained stories so yeah. There great ways to intro people to the characters

you won't notice characters from the clone wars/rebels etc but that's just fan service imo
def could watch all these alone with no other media
i'd almost recommended these tales shows before rebels & the clone wars great intro into the world before watching more of the show
imo if you wanna just get into The Clone Wars I'd skip around
i feel like there isn't much to spoil unless you just wanna go in fresh
my favorites, plenty of good ones tho
The Battle of Umbara (S4 EP7-10) Onderon (S5 EP2-5) The Wrong Jedi (S5 EP17-20) Orders (S6 EP1-4) Yoda Enters The Force (S6 ep10-13)The Siege of Mandalore (S7 EP9-12)

it's got some slower episodes but The Clone Wars is my fav piece of Star Wars media
way above any of the live action stuff
I remember waiting for it come on Cartoon Network on Fridays
the bad batch went the direction i thought it would be i'm not sure how they're gonna wrap it up
i just rewatched the final four episodes of 'The Clone Wars' for the first time in years, and honestly, it was heartbreaking.

i like when she takes off his mask and you see a broken man, pawns
Last episode was real good
definitely excited for the finale kinda regret just watching it all like one film
i liked the ending rip hemlock and that’s interesting necromancer is shelved for stardust 🤔
Ion like the Bariss Offee redesign. Just looks like a white girl painted green. Think it’s the hair more than anything.
Something that Disney Star Wars lacks is framing of scale. It was a problem I had in The Mandalorian too. They are depicting 1 settlement on a planet, as if it represents the entire planet. Now if they would just say these are Outer Rim Settlements instead of moving like they’re entire countries when it often looks like they’re less than 200 people in these settlements planet-wide. Like why the hell would the republic send a delegation to settlements so f***ing small? Especially out in the outer rim?
I’ve said this before but has there ever been any depictions of civilians who are actually proud to be living under the Empire? Like it’s depicted as so evil and oppressive, I don’t really understand how they were even able to conquer the galaxy to the extent that they did? Like even if all politicians went along with it, the masses are all heavily oppressed, and don’t seem to want the Empire either. Seems like the only people who enjoy being Imperial are those enlisted in its forces.
Like Palpatine n Vader is strong and menacing sure, but they not single handedly that powerful to hold people down to the level being depicted. Like the Rebels should’ve been wayyyy bigger than what’s depicted. Cause I’m stressing to think, even in the comics, or any video games, I can’t recall any instance of a civilian seeing the merits of Imperial rule over Republic.
Ughh I really wanna like Tales of the Empire but man just doesn’t scratch that itch fully. I think the art design is generally fantastic. Not at all a fan of Bariss Offee’s design though tbh. Very bland.
As for the plot, it’s the same as usual. Star Wars lacks nuance. It’s on me for trying to look for something that just doesn’t seem interested in that approach to its plot.
