feels great having all the diff modes

Some devs are being made to work elsewhere at DICE (probably Battlefield 2021 as this happened in 2018) and some devs are being let go of all together. Ben has been promoted to a producer at DICE but not for Battlefront and there is no replacement community manager. DICE have also not talked about anything post Scarif DLC- however this could be a similar situation to last year when DICE weren’t allowed to talk about any new content until the new fiscal year (Apr-March).

Personally I think this is the games last year being supported by EA. Obviously that’s disappointing but the game was supported for three years after a shocking launch, no money being made via micro transactions or passes.

I wouldn't be mad at all if they do a mini clone wars care package and then bug fixes after the scarif patch. the game feels complete

All I want is maul skins, damaged Vader, bespin luke, hooded anakin, Reys yellow saber, ep1 obi wan and stormtrooper skins for Luke Han and Finn and I’ll be happy. Doubt we get any of these besides maul skins tho

Personally I don’t feel as if the game is complete but I fully understand why EA would want to no longer fund and support this game.

I hope there’s a third Battlefront. It seems unlikely given that the Star Wars deal ends in 2023 and EA already have plans for 2021 and 2022 with Project Maverick and a Fallen Order sequel.

I think they need to flesh out the offline content fully and fix any remaining bugs and i'm pretty satisfied. if we get anything extra then I'm glad

Would love a bf3 on next gen hardware especially since ea has probably learned from its mistakes with 1 & 2.

I need one more prequel map at least. Game feels empty without Coruscant, Utapau, or Mustafar. Maybe Christophsis.

I would also love a pre-suit Vader skin from ROTS with yellow eyes and a hood.

It was more popular a year after its release.

November 2018 is when the game hit its peak and carried launch numbers for about a year but the last couple months less people have been playing due to less exciting content. Scarif next week should get people excited again and if they confirm more future content.

There is still so much content they could add but I’d agree, Coruscant and maybe some final heroes to go with it- Ahsoka and Ventress just because how high in demand they are from fans. It would feel like a fitting end.

I know the devs are big Rebels fans and I would’ve liked to have seen some of that content.

It’s debatable. For me I personally prefer GA but a capturing command post mode was very in demand.

In November 2018, the game reached launch numbers and months later surpassed it when CS arrived in the Spring. CS quickly became the games most played mode and still is.

Looks like the update is delayed until at least next week. Communication these days is reminiscent of the pre-Ben Walke days and kids on Reddit are losing their s***.

Didn't they have plans for Palpatine to be added to the First Order side? The skin may possibly coincide with that.

I think they said before they were considering adding Chewbacca and Palpatine to the sequel era maps. Makes sense.

Not gonna complain about getting new villain skins at all, would've preferred Crimson Dawn Maul and red robes Palpatine from ROTS, still really excited about villain skins though.

That's true. At the same time, aside from hvv & coop, cs is the only game mode being pushed. I don't blame the devs for "forgetting" about GA though, it's not a noob friendly mode.

Personally I'm alright with scarif being the last update, the game has been live for about 3 years and it improved a lot from its launch state, it didn't 100% hit the mark for me but I can't really complain, we could've shared the same fate as battlefield 5

I hope they clean up the game a bit before they leave it though.
