That s*** is completely trash the moment you start to actually pay attention to what the hell is happening in that scene. It is legitimately bad choreography

Also lightsaber fights in every movie had goofy choreography best not to get take it too seriously and just enjoy the spectacle

Overwhelming majority of all live action lightsaber duels have been s***. But I maintain that Red Room scene is the absolute worst in SW franchise history.

in my head I always assumed that the reason light saber fights choreography got worse cannon wise is because Rey and Kylo grew up in an era where Jedis and Sith didn't really exist. they couldn't hone or sharpen their skills

Anakin legit was a prodigy/ legend at dueling cause in his time he can spar with basically a plethora of Jedi and Sith

aesthetically pleasing but choreography is choppy and aint as good as the prequel trilogy duels

TFA was a damn good movie and a great set up. Loved every new character and every actor delivered

TLJ had some things I loved, some things I hated. But more positive then negative

TROS was just one awful choice after one awful choice.

I cant not f*** with Duel of the Fates even if it is more of a dance than a fight. Hate everything about Attack of the Clones. Revenge was overall pretty cool and vicious outside of that one rave twirling part
