New Vegas was developed in like a year and was given nowhere near enough time to be polished and launched borderline broken.

Seriously, read up the development of the game, it’s basically 1:1 with KOTOR 2 (which also kind of upstaged the previous entry, but was received not as well because it also was made in like a year and was forcibly released unfinished and borderline broken).

Deathloop was fun tbh just nowhere close to a 10, 8 at best
