ngl if you have money for a high end pc that can run starfield at 4k and 60+fps you don't need to pirate games

Personally I wouldn’t
Getting a title boost and pay boost at a company not setting you up properly to succeed really f***s with your career options in the future because other companies are gonna want to hire you at the same level when you may just not be up to par due to your experience

I’m in a role right now I’m over qualified for.
I have skills of a developer but I’m doing support and QA 😑
The longer I do that longer people gonna want support and qa.
But the company I’m at now makes billions and is huge. Idk whether or not to politic my way into a dev role or jump ship
Now that the game’s been out and ya’ll have experienced it - any suggestions on what settings I should play on? This is my pc - I have almost 0 pc knowledge lol
would this mean im gpu bound
No. you want low cpu utilization and high gpu.
Cpu pushes gpu to its max.
If your cpu can push you gpu with minimal effort that’s ideal.
what are your specs
32 gb ram
ryzen 5 2600 I think
nvidia something something 6gb
I have to boot up my pc to see the exact names but I'm too lazy tbh

*assuming you’re using high graphics settings/resolutions greater than 1080p
I found this comment on reddit
“ I honestly am shocked in the state of the PC release at the moment. Don't buy this game, it's not worth it.
With DLSS mod and medium settings and 70% resolution scale I am barely getting 60 fps on 1440p with 2080 Super.
The game looks washed out garbage. There is no gamma settings in the game or anything to tweak this. They think that this 100% film grain washed out blurred garbage is how this is supposed to look like.
My monitor has this "HDR lookalike" settings and with this it kinda looks playable, but far, far from something you would want to play for 80+ hours.
These reviewers are a f***ing joke. The technical state of this release on PC is abysmal.”
This dudes complaining about hitting 60 frames at 1440p

I definitely think you should look for other opportunities but make sure it’s with a company that is setting you up to succeed
