What you are doing is still basic but the fact that locations even barren ones have more personality, npcs to talk to with more than just “ go here kill this “ . Side quest that teach the mechanics is cool . The game is deep .

This game is f***ing some people up . For me it is . Others are optimized . It needs official NVIDIA support asap

Exactly I just keep taking them and I haven't even huge gotten into the mission board. Trying to move main quest forward after at max 3 side quest or activities. Cause I can be on a side quest and see someone with a new side quest.
