locked 30 or locked 60
60fps dropping under 50fps is poor
30fps dropping at all is poor
why don't devs know that offering options is a d***head move when they arent all sound
Doesn’t really seem like any of the modes are stable apart from 30 performance. I’m playing on 60 visuals, if anything even mildly intensive is happening it feels like it drops into the low 30s.
Wow yeah makes sense why they didn’t send out review codes. Probably the most disappointing Bethesda dlc I’ve played

No way
Why is it so bad (without spoilers)

It's just short and for the most part boring, more of the same from the main game. Interesting looking planet and there's some cool lore but that's about all it has going for it. I don't think centering an entire dlc around what's arguably the most uninteresting faction in the game was a good idea.
Yeah not even mentioning that my save is glitched and all the guards in the main city are hostile for no reason
I can't finish any side missions I have because I'm getting shot every 5 seconds
I've tried everything I can think of and my last manual save is only 2 hours into the dlc

They botched the DLC?
Oh my God, it’s over.

Yeah it’s not good
It’s extremely over
I’m still excited for ES6 obviously but I’m more nervous now until I see some footage, idk what’s going on at Bethesda but they’re falling apart
In a world where everything from Elden Ring to Splatoon 3 is getting fantastic dlc, this is just a joke for a $30 expansion

The most interesting faction isn’t really even in the game or dlc at all
Need to replay Point Lookout or something and relive the good ol days
I play fallout 3 & all the dlc’s like once a year. Point lookout still holds up so good
Only downside is you don’t get Galaxy news radio out there
The whole plot/premise of the game was stupid and gave it artificial replay value

I started playing last year and then stopped when Microsoft internally leaked Fallout 3 Remastered so I decided to save myself for that so it feels more fresh
I’ve probably played fo3 and the dlcs like 5 or 6 times through though, mostly back in 09’
I remain that the story being centered around multiverse BS shot this game in the foot
that was a pop media cultural focus point for like the past 10 or so years and it felt like this game dropped on the tailend of that hype, and wasnt even a compelling story soooo

Which is so completely unnecessary because fo3 and skyrim were already fun to replay because of all the different builds you can do, choices you make, etc., they should’ve focused in more on that. Instead there’s literally like 1 fleshed out build you can do.
FO5 and ES6 will save us
I still wonder what's going on with the development with both.
I worry the success of the TV show is making them push for the next FO and that it will be delivered half baked.

Yeah you can do the multiverse thing but you have to do it in a new way, there’s probably a lot of potential with that concept but people just rehash the same version of it

My guess is ES6 development will move much more smoothly. They had a lot of time to write ideas and make concept art and all that s***, plus Todd said he had the concept for the game already down like a decade ago
Also they built a new engine for starfield and they’re just reusing that, it saves a lot on dev time

I’m hoping the reason for the dlc being so lackluster is because the A team are all on ES6. But yeah guess we’ll have to wait for gameplay to see
