Like he went from modest life style/concious rap to grandiose hit maker fantasy boss style rap.

Honestly, He's regressed so much as a artist that it's hard to really listen to his older projects the same.

He has no bad songs, no bad albums, no bad career moves, biggest in the business and he will win that lawsuit, and the midget will pay for his crimes. Drake is hip hop. Without drake, hip hop will turn into rock music.

The music is still just as good, even if the quality control may have lapsed a little in general. The older projects still felt more of an air "perfectionism" to them.

i like the direction, but i hate that the albums get confused with 3-4 songs that have no reason being there every time

Pretty happy with his discography all things considered. People like to point to bloated albums but that doesn’t really bother me that much as his whole ethos has been a “something for everybody” artist. Dude has given us timeless music for over 15 years at this point. That is not easy to do at all

besides a few duds, only sad about the direction he went as a person but whatever

His albums stopped being as consistent for me but Drake is definitely one of my favorite rappers

I like a good amount of it.

At the end of the day he's had a long career and gave countless great songs to people, even though I do take issue with a lot of the quality control and the sort of 'mixed bag' strategy can take away from the final product imo. The variety isn't always a 'plus' imo although sometimes he just strikes a creative sweet spot and thats what i look out for. The OV-hoes on here know i don't like the new album im not going to rehash that but,
