it's clearly still early days for him. this is how fanbases get built
this is not how fanbases get built
they do not know the words to his most famous song lol
this is not how fanbases get built
they do not know the words to his most famous song lol
lol that's how it starts
"you're not a real fan, you don't even know the words to his song"
then comes the stan olympics, before you know it, boom, fanbase
Reminds me of the beach house concert I went to zoomers talking over songs until space song came on
damn. they did beach house dirty too
lol that's how it starts
"you're not a real fan, you don't even know the words to his song"
then comes the stan olympics, before you know it, boom, fanbase
i mean the way to build a fanbase is to consistently make quality projects
Yall paying $300 for this?
I can't believe this is real
so tired of the enlightened contrarians in every single thread, you literally have niggas making songs geared to go viral on Tik Tok, and you have morons in here saying that people in itt are "old" and/or "bitter"
it's literally ruining music and commodifying it, and you niggas are focused on the people calling it out?
it just boggles my mind
niggas will be mad at niggas giving reasonable critique and say s*** like “why y’all niggas so mad”
if ur really above it be above it and move on 😭😭
Reminds me of the beach house concert I went to zoomers talking over songs until space song came on
If you know beach house lyrics instead of disassociating into depression you’re doing it wrong
Reminds me of the beach house concert I went to zoomers talking over songs until space song came on
concerts with an average age of like 30+ >>>
Yall paying $300 for this?
🔥🔥
If you know beach house lyrics instead of disassociating into depression you’re doing it wrong
I don’t expect people to know the lyrics (I don’t) it was the loud talking over classic songs until space song that pissed me off
Back in my day we studied the song lyrics before concerts. If you f***ed up a lyric in the crowd you were publicly shamed. The artist would bring you on stage and the crowd would throw rocks at you.
Nigga wanted homegirl to face consequences to not knowing lyrics to a song im crine
this thread got me in tears
That f***ing white b**** saying “I’m sorry I don’t know the words” or something like that, in that tone of voice like she was being funny and quirky got me so heated for no reason. Like it’s not a big deal, but she just so dumb and shallow and will never see consequences for it
Also, I feel bad for Lacy more than anything else. It would be demoralizing for me as an artist to finally start packing out shows, only for people to not even care enough to know the words to my biggest song
christ... touch grass nigga
its just a song
If you know beach house lyrics instead of disassociating into depression you’re doing it wrong
Victoria is an amazing songwriter though, it’s worth it to read and learn the lyrics
Reminds me of the beach house concert I went to zoomers talking over songs until space song came on
fr s***s hella annoying like just cause you don't know the song doesn't mean u have to annoy everyone else around you
i mean the way to build a fanbase is to consistently make quality projects
i don't disagree, but i think there's many more aspects which people often overlook. i think that's why when we think of stans we think toxic, overly dedicated people, i think people overlook these little battles people go through in order to join the ranks as a stan. and how those same people often end up going to "preach the gospel" to others about their fav.
i think they're many little things, this being one of them, that go overlooked in establishing a solid and steady fanbase
This clip is actually hilarious man
Like how could they ALL collectively just shut up when he asked them to sing the second verse
Nah, y’all always roll out the defense squad when someone even lightly roasts a mid white woman on this site.
There’s a joke to be made but I’m not getting banned over it
dude let it go man, nobody cares about a white b**** not knowing a lyrics, or a nigga. like damn
I genuinely hope Gen Z artists can build an organic fanbase up over time. TikTok is good for moments, not necessarily long term fans. Hoping Steve’s class continues to build.
