Look normally I’d agree with you on the divisiveness of political language today but anti vaxxing isn’t a political position it’s a death sentence and a public health risk. Vaccines should honestly be mandated by the government with fines. It doesn’t just effect the person refusing to get the vaccine and the bigger the population of people refusing to get it the bigger the problem it becomes. The longer the virus continues to bounce around the more of a chance it gets to evolve, become deadlier, become resistant to vaccines and medicine. It’s all fun and games until an anti vaxxer is the reason one of our family member dies from their stupidity. Or we need to make another vaccine cause the virus evolved past it. Another $500 mil to make another vaccine another round of shots for us all. It’s not a political position and it shouldn’t be given the respect and leniency of one because doing so legitimizes something that’s not a truthful position, but one that’s 1. anti-science 2. full of reckless abandon and 3. criminally negligent.

obviously it's not a 1:1 a***ogous but i'm just trying to use it to illustrate the point. pfizer is the gold standard and the moderna / astra zeneca should be avoided if possible but even then the side effects are incredibly rare and probably have to do with some underlying health issue that was present in the situation before hand. normally i am a skeptic person when it comes to politics but there's no real evidence to justify the level of visibility of this issue. vaccines have been around for over 200 years now, don't you think if there were any real issues with the science/medicine by now it would've cropped up a long time ago? Why have no major studies published any findings about long term side effects of vaccines? If it was a serious health issue why haven't we seen huge surges of vaccine related deaths / health issues in the public? vaccines are used all over the world, almost everyone on this planet has been vaccinated for some virus. Literally almost everyone. It's honestly a miracle that you can give a medicine to damn near everyone on the planet and not see any long term health implications. But still people are skeptical. It's completely irrational.

I plan on getting vaccinated for this when I know it’s safe/ fully fda approved. if I was high risk I would get the vaccine but I’m not so I’m going to wait for it too go thru the testing that every other vaccine has gone thru before taking it
