only thing that's making this harder is that you cant post fits from wdywt, this is very new.

style wars wasn't like this before (10th year of style wars, can you believe that???) and the only stipulation was no repeat fits, I think this makes this a lot more stressful for people because I don't even think of taking pics like that anymore, and it feels like now im making conscious efforts to get flee get pics taken etc. there's so many times I been fly and got home and forgot to even take pics.... I love the format but I feel like the need for 4 new fits each round with nothing used from the past year isn't a good representation of ones said style or their bag. It feels like we got penalized for posting in WDYWT? like every single FOTD someone has gotten in the last year should be allowed to be included 3bh. we may have seen much more participation if so.

Good points. Even worse imo is that it encourages buying a ton of clothes. I don't remember who, but last round some people complained that someone's fits had some pieces from the first round(???).

People here constantly talk about refining their aesthetic, but the rules of SW inherently goes against that philosophy.

If anything there should be a rule that you can't have WDYWT pics if they are hasty mirror pics with meh lightning where you can't see the details of the fits, thus making comparisons difficult. Some effort in presentation should be expected, not having to reinvent yourself time and time again.

Four new fits per round was something that came into play in 2017 after the 2015 and 2016 wars failed to launch/get close to finishing.

There was a lot of community support for it then and it's been a part of the last three wars and that support never seemed to changed so I kept it rolling into this year.

But this is something that's changed a lot over the years/should always be open to change in my view so if people want something different than four new fits per round, that's all good to me, just need suggestions.

i get a fit off every day but i do not have the time nor willpower to make sure i get a banger fit pic every time. i gotta go outta my way to do that s*** when sometimes all im tryna do is get groceries or some s***

i say let people repeat fits. you can only see a fit so many times before it starts to lose its spark. so if someone wants to repeat a fit, that’s up to them.

they gotta hope that fit holds weight enough to win them another round.

Word - 2017 and 2018 had repeats allowed in certain amounts/for certain rounds but the community seemed to want to push it out but if the sway going back towards allowing for em, I'm open to it cause your thinking is spot on to me
