I wouldn't mind allowing repeat fits for Summer Slam, I think what's more important than repeats, as another user pointed out, is the quality of the fit pics themselves

@Vox I feel like realistically we can do 4 fits, no repeats, but you can use any fit you posted in wdywt. I could easily do great rounds if I could balance new fits with older ones from the last year

Style wars is a celebration and stage for people to display their style, and style doesn’t have one type of look it’s layers to it. Even though I already posted fits in wdywt, there are people who never saw them before and shouldn’t not be allowed. I feel like that rule was type like super internet motivated and not reflective of how people actually live and s***. I be feeling mad narcissistic taking hella pics 😭. For those first 2 rounds I was digging for fits I never posted cause I post all my fits in wdywt (and get Fotd cause I don’t miss) and miraculously I got to this point. Like those fits matter too 🥺 so I feel like if we implement that it would make this easier for everyone to be more balanced competitively, not everyone got hella fits like that so let them reach back to they latest hits. Cause y’all love some real life photos but I had people hating on my fit pics cause it looked like I was just chilling inside.... nigga I work from home!!! 😭 y’all running this s*** perfectly other than this tbh niggas lowkey fatigued

you guys make good points but I feel like we're going backwards lmao. It's Style Wars, don't participate if you ain't willing to put in the effort to take new pics? A lot of OGs didn't participate this year because they knew they wouldn't have the time to invest in this event so they fellback which is fine . Just post in WDYWT if you just care about quickly showing what you wore. Then again if you believe using old pics won't go against you then why not I guess.

Think the biggest difference this year was number of new fits required rounds 1&2. Think honestly if we’re doing all new fits, do 3 fits total per round for at least the first 2-3 rounds. Finals and semi finals should be more new fits.

First 2-3 rounds would probably be best to be 3 new fits and not allowing old fits or 4 fits allowing previous WDYWT fits (minimum of 2 new fits in that case). Cranking out 8 brand new fits in the first two rounds can kinda exhaust later rounds.

As for the current situation. Run this s*** like other tournaments. Sachee gets the bye. Rounds were already set. Sachee just wins by default. May not be “fair,” but really it doesn’t matter. If sachee ends up winning this this whole thing, it’s not like he doesn’t have to go through misha or other heavy hitters who would knock 100% of the people who would complain out of the tournament anyway.

If people want an exhibition match just for fun and to take the place of sachee/satan. I’m down to participate. Or chase/mythic would be solid. Of course itd just be for fun and count for bragging rights.

Think that’s kinda too few. Imo 3 fits for the first 2-3 rounds is ideal. Liked the set up last year.

Rounds 4&5 could be a minimum of 3 new fits plus 1 WDYWT repeat and one Style Wars repeat. Think it’s unfair to not allow FOTDs when some of them are better than many style wars fits. Also, if somebody drops a major banger round one (eg Satan’s entire round), they should be able to carry over their best for last 1-2 rounds. It is a showcase of style after all and quality over quantity is best imo.
