Think I put it below Carrie and lowell, Illinois and age of adz overall but I really like it and I’m just glad we have some new Sufjan to listen to
Phoebe bridgers' album is probably still my favorite this year but this one is def up there for me
same phoebe still at the top for me atm
My Rajneesh deserved to be an album cut
Nah it doesn’t fit at all I’m glad it was a b side
Also this thing does not need to be amy longer lmao

Don’t think it needed to be 1 hour 20 minutes in general but each track feels like a spectacle in its own universe so I get the idea behind it.
I thought the album would be a mix of folk/electronic making Rajneesh a perfect track but it seems like Sufjan just went full on electronic with this. Still need to run this a couple more times, there’s a lot to unpack but a 7 is a fair score on first listen in my opinion.
That being said, Rajneesh is still the best track (along with Sugar) he’s dropped this year.
Someone in here @ me and said this was his psychedelic project or atleast his attempt, is this true? Should i go in expecting that? Or is it more just the atmosphere and song structures?
