Been busy all month but finally going to finish Howling Dark. Just met Kharn Sagara. What the heck is this guy
Howling Dark chapter 66… WHAT HAVE YOU DONE
Just you wait bro, s***’s just kicking off
Final book Shadows Upon Time comes out next month
Been doing a book club of Will of the Many with a couple friends before the sequel comes out next month, so I’m trying to balance that and DG and DG is losing
I’m enjoying it a lot but I’m barely a third of the way in, not sure I’m gonna be done in time for SuT release

There’s a point in DG that it gets unputdownable. How deep in are you?
& Damn I gotta find a recap of Will of the Many before Strength of the Few drops too

Just finished Chapter 70. Holy did this is not what I was expecting. I was honestly expecting the original plan that was going to occur but so glad you know who decided to intervene with this

Just got to chapter 24 Hadrian and Cassandra got captured by the Cielcen, and saw them do their sacrifice to summon the watcher who started snapping them up, and pulled Hadrian into the dream sequence and *potentially* named Herself as Ushara?
I'm really enjoying what I've read so far! It feels very DiW pacing to me which is a good thing. I'm just squeezing 90% of my reading time into WotM right now so I'm just squeezing DG in when I can. But it's getting to the point where I don't want to put it down either lmao so I'm gonna have to walk a tight rope to get both done in the next few weeks

Oh and you're not out of the woods yet either bro. I love the part you're going through right now I was so fascinated watching the peace talks break down and Hadrian coming to the realization at just how different humans and the cielcen are and his loss of the idealistic view of the war he's had up until this point. The second half of HD is one of my favorite parts of the entire series for sure
Finished Howling Dark. Wow what a finish!!!!! The final fight was crazy and I'm glad you know who is fine.
This story is going in the direction I didnt think of lol and I'm glad its headed that way.
Going to start Demon in White tonight. What would you guys say about that one?

It’s so good man. Perfect pacing, mini arcs within the story cover just about everything that makes the series great, so many wtf moments, it’s so good. Might be my favorite sci fi book EVER.
What in the f*** is happening.
Halfway through, the book got even more amazing man

I just finished chapter 40 ….
That was a lot to process lol
Like A LOT. 22 pages of straight metaphysical musings. I need to sleep on it and collect my thoughts in the morning to make sure I understood what I just read
Been rereading to gear up for Shadows Upon Time. I'm on Kingdoms of Death atm.
I'm not gonna lie man... on my reread... I really didn't like Demon in White all that much. Hadrian just came across as a pompous, know it all, conceited, melodramatic aristocrat. that is on brand, even in universe people see him that way, but man. I still think he is a well written, fully realized character, but I don't think I'd get along with him in universe lol. He's so damn smug in Demon in White
and it's like iight he the has reasons to be, but simmer down.
Even on my first read of Demon in White, I kinda always felt it was overhyped. Good book but, it just never hit the supposed highs that people praise it for. It never felt like that climatic moment happened. Then when it actually did, the book was over.
Enjoying Kingdoms of Death reread so far, bout half way through. Gonna finish it tonight more than likely.
also I know it isn't the case, but you can make the argument in the first 3 books, that Valka is an android, and not even human. Subtle things that make you think like, nah she ain't all the way there. Like Hadrian describing how she sleeps. She basically boots herself up from sleep mode like a PC. Unblinking eyes, susceptible to digital viruses. Then coming back to her in Kingdoms of Death, you hear about their trip to the Demarque, and how she pretty much had a "ship of theseus" situation without them explicitly saying so. idk, hadrian might've been a clanker lover
