With that said i'm dissapointed in Nairo.

Zero been a weirdo to me for awhile since stories of him sicking his fans and trying to use clout to intimidate a merch seller at EVO. Not surprised by any of his s***, more upset he tried to lie before coming clean.

Anti, D1, Keitaro. These are the ones that hurt me. Especially Anti, regardless of the specifics his twitlonger came off way too agressive and not really taking acountability. I'm a huge fan of his and this one specifically hurt the hell out of me.

My main takeaway from this that can be applied in general is people need to stop worshiping mfs or expecting personalities to be above the average or deplorable human morally.

I get with a platform you're expected to use it properly when younger eyes are looking at you, but at the end of the day its not up to any of them (general statement) to be some high moral figure for people to look up to. This internet age of performative activisim has created this false notion that people aren't human and dont do f***ed up s***. Thats why it looks more ridiculous when someone who adovcates against X behavior gets called out for the same or different s***.

None of these dudes should be excused for their actions, especially if they were full grown adults when s*** popped off. No excuses. But to all the community keep an eye on the people going extra hard in attack mode right now. They have something to hide. Its almost always the case. Regardless being exiled from the community is the bare minimum.

Mfs also need to stop trying to cater to the public opinion and not thinking about the legal aspects. A lot of this twitter s*** will bite these dudes since they literally confesed to crimes. Guilty or not LAWYER UP and dont say s*** about s*** without legal representation and guidance first.

We all know the truth now though for the most part and none of that matters. S***s sick af and thats an understatement. I really hate that this is happening. Im hoping the Smash community and the FGC can be rebuilt from scratch to better suite everyone and a safer enviornment for those vulnerable.

The answer to this is a lot more simple than you think. Granted Grassroots FGC is an anomoly where you had mfs of all ranges at the arcades, i'll keep it strictly to Smash with what im trying say to cause less confusion.

The Smash communlity is built up of people who were shunned throughout school for being weird/awkward.timid/nerdy. Being a nerd is a lot more acceptable in the last decade. I'll go as far as saying nerds are almost the cool ones in a sense of SM presence where we now look at the jocks/cool kids as dumbasses. In the case of people born in the ranges of mid 80s-mid 90s, they've been playing Smash longer than some of these kids have been born. They are looked up to as 'cool'. A lot of them aren't used to being the cool one, i've noticed this a trend in nerd communities in general now. A lot of people take this as a chance to live High School a second time. They clique up with the other nerds with clout, and they realize they now have influence over a younger crowd who looks up to them. Some people use this position responsibly, but as we are currently seeing, guys who most likely were getting no attention/play from women their age when they were younger or now, so they are using their position to be predatory on the younger people in the community.

TLDR; Aquiring clout doesn't give you social skills or game with your average woman, women their age not affiliated with the community can still see through them being lame, its easier for them to prey on younger people who are naieve. Without Smash they'd be your average loser.
