Once you get how most Sonic players play it becomes easy to read. I don’t think the stage change will help all too much. Guess it depends

I’ll @ you in the thread next time i WiFi ! I usually play in an arena with my friends if that’s cool with you
I think this theory/actual evidence is being highly slept on:
In the US/Canada reveal of the Altair and Fallout Mii Costumes, the series logo for AC and Fallout didn't appear. But in all other versions they appeared. Starting with the Byleth presentation, when they showed the characters at the end, the logos for FE and Arms didn't appear, and the others (P5, DQ11...) disappeared as well. The reason for this is because the ESRB changed their policy didn't want logos from M rated games showing up in this E10 rated video. Since the Arms logo didn't show up in the Mini direct or the Min Min presentation, that could mean we're getting a character from an M rated game in the current pass.
In 2019 before ESRB rule change vs after rule change in 2020 in NA
Arms presentation in NA vs EU and Japan
EU and Japan have a different ratings board.
Arms is an E10 game so there is no reason for the logo to not be there which means an M rated character has a high chance of being an FP2 character.
There is more evidence to this rule change because the Arms presentation was rated E10-T and the only T rated thing in the entire video was the Tekken logo.

This just leads me to assume there is a M Rated character in Vol. 2 and will disappoint me if that’s not the case. Don’t get your hopes up on this theory

I honestly think this is true because there’s been a lot of speculation around Doomguy, Dante, Travis Touchdown, and Master Chief.
If Nintendo wants to promote the NMH port and NMH3, Travis Touchdown would make 100% sense.
Interesting video about potential Nintendo Direct leak that states who the next Smash character is:
Leak has a lot of random things no one faking would think of. Take with a grain of salt though.

It’s on the right track and isn’t Persona 5 M Rated? If that’s the case we have already had this proven to be the case for all of this dlc

What do you mean?
The key thing is that the ESRB changed policies at the start of 2020 to make it so a logo will change rating of a video. That’s why the logos disappeared because of the Persona logo.
Arms is an E10 game so the only reason for it not having a logo would imply that an M rated character is coming in the 2nd pass as well.
It’s the fact that the logos randomly disappeared starting in 2020 and the fact that the Tekken logo raised the rating of the Arms presentation. Plus the AC/Fallout logos not being present.
We just though the logos being different in NA were random but now it points to something substantial.

I think I understand this post wrong.
Persona 5 is rated M so we knew rated M Characters could make it but this implies another M character will make it as DLC.
Went back to online to see the "improvements"
You can fix the servers all you like, but I've had three different people rage quit in the last 30 fights. So yeah, there's like a 10% chance someone is going to bail, higher if you have a commanding lead.
The other problem is that skill level is never consistent. I either get some borderline pro practicing for a tournament that I'll never beat or a total scrub that rage quits after losing a stock.
My Young Link is improving a lot though. I've been putting hours in and it's showing up a little at a time.

Are you in Elite Smash? Been a minute since I played but in Elite Smash people are usually half decent. Outside of Elite Smash then ya thats a big issue. I wish there was a proper ranking system or even non s*** online or I would play it more often

I have some characters in elite yeah, just prefer arenas in general. You get to settle in and examine play style without worrying about GSP and you get to see the matchup ahead of time the way you would in a tournament.
For me, the ideal would be a situation where there was a proper ranking system that allowed you to see what you were up against when entering an arena, as well as a full rule set. Also, if you could switch characters without losing your place in line. That would be great.

Usually when I do arenas I set the tag or whatever to glorious smashers or Elite Smashers(or whatever it’s called) arenas tagged with that generally net me at least decent players so I don’t feel like I’m playing with someone who just plays causally or a kid but arenas def need some work for sure
I got into elite smash on incineroar tonight
