Capeshit is so boring rn
Give us these r rated originals baby
y i k e s
really bout to waste my free birthday popcorn on this
Go see furious
This s*** getting ripped lmfao
Wtf did they actually think was gonna happen
pretty sure this is the director's first rotten score, even that cruella movie he made got better reviews
I commend Gunn for trying something different with the DCU, but you gotta start a shared universe with the heavy hitters
When the MCU started out, they gave us the biggest characters that they had the rights to at that time
Supergirl & Clayface being the second and third movies after Superman just never made any sense

Leave Clayface alone it’s about to be a good movie
Was talking about Chris Mundy/Lindeolf, Gunn, Flanagan

Honestly lanterns should’ve been a movie

It looks good, but it’s most likely not gonna make much money. If you’re trying to do a shared universe, the films have to be successful for it to get off the ground

!!!
Starting the universe with TV shows side-by-side with films never made any sense either
The issue isn’t that it’s supergirl and not Batman Wonder Woman lol
It partially is. There hasn’t been much hype or anticipation for this film even before the reviews started rolling in
#DCUisoverparty
spiderman and doom otw this aint the time for this
Sometimes I wonder what would’ve happen if the flash was a critical and commercial success
Sasha Caille super girl movie
Imagine if the MCU started with
Captain America
Captain Carter
Crimson Dynamo
That s*** would’ve ended by 2013
The issue isn’t that it’s supergirl and not Batman Wonder Woman lol
The issue is that it apparently just isnt a good movie, if it was good nothing else matters

It also already wasn’t tracking well before reviews and impressions came out in the first place
disastrous opening weekend imminent
no longevity bc better movies next few weeks
james gunn getting fired

It’s horror and the budget is only $40 million . It’ll make a nice profit for sure
It of course won’t make $500+ million or something like that . But it should be a nice win for DC
The issue is that it apparently just isnt a good movie, if it was good nothing else matters
Normally, yes this is true, but DC is in a very unique position. They still tryna wipe off the stink of the DCEU with general audiences. That’s why I think they should’ve played it safe for their first few films. Establish new & better iterations of the characters that the DCEU royally f***ed up so audiences know it’s a new regime
