YANDHIGunn arguably has had this coming for a while thanks to his insistence on posting, critiquing publications and calling reporters out by name for what are sometimes legitimate reports. Particularly Variety and Deadline (sister companies). One obvious example is that that bizarre moment with Deadline a couple months ago, who clearly were on the right track and requested comment from DC before publication, to which they declined
The issue with the media is they're not going to fight you and your fanbase. They wait until you slip before unloading a full clip. And no ones gonna step in to help.
You simply cannot post like this as a studio executive,

Does he wanna get in his feelings and call out publications over partially true reporting or actually run a company as executive? This accomplishes nothing.
You can do this sure, but don’t complain when it comes back to bite you when rough patches come.

This was the thing, THR and other pubs started then posting their own variations of the same reports right after he tweeted this and just ignored him. I think he was thrown off more by everyone getting Adria right
Trades aren’t your average scoopers. They may get things wrong but the bar for sourcing and what they’re allowed to report is relatively high. Can’t treat them like you can Grace Randolph or Jeff Sneider.

If Adria turns out to be WW then he was indeed correct, the names they had out for Maxima was incorrect
