Yes. That’s how it’s always worked and that’s how it should be. A business can decide who they want to serve just like we as a people can decide if we want to support a business that does that. This should not be a legal matter.

Oh damn, I guess businesses were right doing what they were doing back in the 40s-60s

The issue in the 40s-60s were the attitude and mentality of the people that supported those businesses

    Missouri has standing its over

That doesn't mean it wins the case though right? It just has the right to appear in court.

so what attitude and mentality change nowadays justifies turning certain people away from your business that is so starkly different?

the center-right have really taken nothing but Ws this last eight days at the supreme court -- on immigration law (Texas), election law (Harper), 'religious freedom' (Groff and 303), affirmative action (SFFA), and student loans (Nebraska*)
    maybe they really are inevitable

*in an american context, so yes, I know they're actually far right in europe and the rest of the world, just pretend I said that

people are allowed to be uncomfortable with doing business with whoever they want

Not everybody has to tolerate everybody

People are free to start their own businesses and serve the underserved or to simply not support racist/sexist businesses. I ain’t supported Chick Fil A ever since that news about them refusing a gay couple but I know all y’all mfs still eat there

This is the same argument used to support Jim Crow laws and go against the Civil Rights act of 1964 BTW, quite common from "right-libertarians".

There’s a difference between corporate donations and actively refusing to serve people in a space based on characteristics such as sexuality, gender, etc., even though the former is a way to support bigotry and bypass the obviousness of the latter

Jim Crow laws were a national mandate for racial segregation

That becomes a government matter because now you’re prohibiting PUBLIC services from serving everybody and that’s wrong.

A private business should be allowed to serve anybody they want.

Do you agree with the banning of "Whites Only" signs on private businesses as described in the Civil Rights Act of 1964?

of course he doesn't. that interferes with the "rights of a private business"
