Oh I forgot Mongolia too, and that's okay because Genghis Khan or smth
I mean the PRC took over Xinjiang even though they don't have any reasonable claims over it
Chinese dude came to our branch meeting (revolutionary socialist group) a couple months ago and I was telling him about our member who was from HK and then I realised that HK comrade has to legitimately be worried about the CCP sending agents to our tiny ass political meetings and getting intel on him
I f***ed up lol

Wish Genghis was here.
We could have sent him to Taiwan and China would have just removed the Taiwanese islands from their maps and moved on.

Happened 150 years before PRC even existed
I mean the PRC took over Xinjiang even though they don't have any reasonable claims over it
I mean Xinjiang was part of China for centuries, only for a decade or couple years here and there has it ever been independent. And Xinjiang was incorporated into the PRC without violence mostly, even the regions independent from the KMT

Genghis probably had your great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great grandmammy as his concubine so you foul for going against the family like that.

Accidentally huh
We're onto you mr Dengist intelligence officer
Sure, comrade.
I mean, you admit were wrong about China disappearing ppl for speaking their minds so…
And yeah their concern and reaction to Islamic terrorism is overblown and unacceptable. But it is true that there are a handful of UN- and US-recognized terrorist groups operating in western China. A number of Uyghurs have crossed over to Afghanistan to join Al Qaeda.
China’s detention and re-education of Uyghurs is unjustifiable and the widespread (I guess??, idk how popular the opinion expressed in that tweet is) support from the people is wrong, sure, but definitely no more wrong than Invading-Iraq-with-72%-approval-and-killing-hundreds-of-thousands-of-people-and-leaving-it-a-breeding-ground-for-ISIS levels of wrong. Not to mention what the US did to Afghans for 2 decades with most Americans feeling totally indifferent to it

He eventually said he thinks the next great socialist revolution will start in China because the repression is so bad there so if he's undercover he's really committing to it

But it isn't true that it was done without violence, China just had overwhelming means lol
And it doesn't really matter if they had control over it for centuries, it's not china per se. Its a turkic country with a turkic identity who are to this day very hostile to Beijing lol. The CCP has just been fairly successful in their ethnic cleansing and population replacement, I don't know how that's not something to be criticized

The PRC definitely did it without violence, the three districts who fought against the KMT accepted to join the PRC voluntarily, Mao praised them for their struggle against the Chinese nationalist government. I know this idea is central to your ideology lol, but borders don't have to be drawn up along ethnic lines, and ethnic populations don't always necessarily want that either. If that was the case every single border in the world would be redrawn.
But yes, of course the treatment of Uyghurs as of late is something that deserves to be criticized, but that doesn't mean Xinjiang was never a part of China, or that the PRC violently took it over. That was the case in Tibet, not in Xinjiang.

I never admitted that.
And they def make people disappear for speaking their mind on social media.
And whataboutism is ridiculous in this argument. I’ve never defended America for that and when I rightly bring up the CCP committing genocide, your answer is “but they’re not worse then America in Iraq”.
Sort your life out, ridiculous you’re out here caping for the CCP.
He eventually said he thinks the next great socialist revolution will start in China because the repression is so bad there so if he's undercover he's really committing to it
I doubt it will happen in China, imo China is one of the least likely countries to have a revolution
I never admitted that.

He literally condemned China's oppression of Uyghurs and he's still "caping for China" lol

Well that reductive quote isn’t my whole response now is it? I clearly said multiple times that what they’re doing is wrong. Idk what else there is to say.
And crying whataboutism is just a convenient way to avoid or dismiss the wider historical context
Given the choice to live in either China or Taiwan with a gun to their head most people ain't choosing China
Given the choice to live in either China or Taiwan with a gun to their head most people ain't choosing China
I would, but only because I'm a communist who likes to s*** on Dengists online
For most regular people who don't care too much about politics there are plenty of areas in mainland China that offer a similar or superior quality of life compared to Taiwan
The sheer delusion of liberals
Do you understand what a minimal percent of the federal budget $90m is? We probably spent more for Trump to style his hair.
