They have the most days off, and some of them don't even care about what they're teaching nor do they try to come off like that.
they go to school and get taught by the government to program us into these mindless beings stuck in the matrix that the government wants us to be, stay woke
The good ones are
Yea well if you're good you probably won't be working at a public school
it should be that passionate teachers earn more
They do though. The actually good ones go to private schools. Public schools are filled with old teachers fed up with life that just complain despite getting half of the year off lol

It’s sad because you’re right, and a lot of teachers are lazy and/or just straight up a******s.
But on the other hand, good teachers that are friendly and helpful to students really do deserve a pay raise. What they do is God’s work

No? Most teachers actually love working with kids. I know some hate their jobs but most teachers I had in public school were really great and really cared about their students.
it depends on the state and the level of education. administrators suck up salaries for near worthless positions in a lot of schools (and also overhired esp in unis/colleges).
keep in mind how many qualifications you need to be a teacher most of the time (with some exceptions ofc) and the pay grade vs the cost you have to bear to even enter the field. that factors into the argument too.
i dont think teachers should be massively overpaid but theres def an argument that some teachers are just generally paid like s*** in some states
the good teachers are usually only in private schools and college. and what do those two have in common

I went to private school my whole life bruh, trust me when I say that there are PLENTY of fed up old teachers in private schools too.
Good teachers are literally heroes

Guess we just had different experiences then
Teachers are underpaid
I disagree. They have too many days off for me to consider them underpaid and their lack of passion takes a part too
smdh. people like OP is why our educational system is down the tubes
nah it’s just america
I'm not even American
Wasn’t talking about you homie just saying America’s education is s***
Teachers absolutely deserve to be paid more. My GF spends plenty of time after hours working on school things and has to spend her own money for s***. Shes lucky to even get half hour break for lunch.

Education is good, or isn't. Truthfully it depends on your mindset and your goals and the risk you want to take. But I still feel like knowledge is extremely valuable and it makes you feel more satisfied too

How many days off does she have may I ask
