the lady jumping off the boat and the backpack keychain was kinda predictable but i still had fun. also whats up with the mixing? I could barely hear s***, my imax screening was KICKING

man that part where he starts running in the opera and the bass starts thumping is so goated
Bro the beginning had me immersed so fast with the music and visuals
fight scenes felt awkward

The fight scenes were great
And that “feeling” is intended

U know a movie good when u still thinking bout it the next day
been 4 days im still thinkin bout it lol
Saw it today, luckily it’s already out in all cinemas (ie not just IMAX) here so didnt get the sound problems as bad as others have mentioned.
I liked it, n defo something i need to watch again to get the most out of, but didn’t love it after first watch.
Spoiler alert below!
Kinda got the feeling that the concept had been thought up without a real good idea for how to execute it - like they just wanted this WW3 storyline but didn’t really know how to make a good link between the reverse time and the end of the world.
It didn’t really make sense to me or seem obvious how/why the entropy change would wipe out the world (and how that could seemingly have no negative impact on the future but could do a lot of good for them).
May well be that it just went over my head tho lol
It was ‘glitching’ during protag’s first convo with elizabeth debeki too
Like AWFUL editing and continuity between takes and people’s resting positions going all over the place.
Unsure if it was intentional or not

I would’ve liked the reverse entropy idea not used with an end of the world scenario tbh

Fr it felt a bit forced in just to make the film more epic - could have worked better with like a police/cia chasing time travelling criminals angle maybe?

film is about future taking revenge on the present. Considering the context of climate change it makes sense.

The climate change angle predicated on one line that was barely decipherable
Like inception could’ve been end of the world scenario too but they made it much smaller and intimate in scope (while still being massively ambitious) — wish tenet did the same

Was literally saying this to people earlier today. Exactly how i felt too. That's why i compared this to TDKR a couple of times already. Both had stakes that weren't tangible for me because they were ridiculously large
