So if you’re inverted and go back in time
You can’t get back to the future.
You have to live out the time in real time. You can’t jump back to whatever point you inverted yourself.

Sheesh. So hiding from yourself forever.
Nolan can't write dialog. Having a movie where every line said is exposition is kinda impressive lmao
I really dug this movie.
However:
Neil: "If this happens, the entire world will cease to exist. Everyone who was ever born or ever will be born will die and cease to be."
Kat: "Including my son."
Neil: "iNcLuDiNg mY sOn"
The equivalent to the mcconaughay “it’s not possible, it’s necessary” line is the “you can’t sail like this!!” “You can if you have to”
When they’re coming out of the cargo and then you smiltanously see go into ambulance
INV JDW emptying the clip in the pentagon and disassembling the gun so the og JDW DOESNT use it against him
Whoa when does that last part happen?
What's so frustrating is that none of the characters have development. I wouldn't even mind being confused if they made me feel something.

Yeah, the film’s runtime felt so short, I would’ve expected it to be a half hour longer — gives us more time to better understand who Protagonist is.

Did you like Dunkirk? I ask, because people also complained there wasn’t any strong character moments / development, but I thought that’s what Nolan Was going for.

The inverted fight scene at Rotas (Pentagon) those bullet holes you see in the glass is actually Inv TP emptying the clip and disassembling it

Its a spy thriller does it need to have massive development? Just figured they need to save the day some way some how do we really need to get invested into them?

It’s just a spy story so I was perfectly okay with that
I think we see enough of protag Neil and Kat to know what we need to know about them
Especially protagonist

I was confused why inverted JDW would even shoot at himself so that makes sense.

Probably my favorite scene
What I don't get is was the Andrei at the end the inverted one? How could Kat have killed him, and he would still be there weeks after?

What’s happens happened
But yes he’s inverted bc if he wasn’t then at that time he never would’ve met the protag and they were speaking on the phone.

Yup I figured that's what happened
Lack of character development is such a s*** critique for an action film imo
Especially for one with Spies, plus we get enough character development for Andrei and Kat for the film to work emotionally, we don't need to be attached to Protag and Neil, I was still attached to them just becxause they're cool af
Loved the chemistry between Protag and Neil tbh made me want to see more of them together
For me this was a better 007, Protag is cool as bricks
not even mad, critics can suck my d***
