PupsThat ending battle had to have been the most anticlimactic s*** I’ve ever seen from Nolan
I'd give it another watch with subtitles. I felt the same way my first viewing but the second viewing I started noticing s*** like Neil shooting at himself in the car and felt the stakes.

Nah, that's just a theory. The ages can't line up correctly without Protag being an old man when Neil/Max is old enough to be recruited.

It's a pretty common theory, lots of people feel that way. And if it adds something to the movie for them, more power to them.
I just don't see how it could feasibly work logistically.

MontrealThe lack of character development in the protagonist is on purpose. Throughout the movie he is going through the motions of a bigger plan set by himself in the future. The character developpment of the protaganist is in a future we don't get to see, but get to experience through the unfolding of the actions in the movie...
