think sator dying = the bomb at the end explodes or something like that, before they know the algorithm which they need (combination of the nuclear particles things)
his watch with which he checks his heartrate automatically triggers the world to go in reverse (using the nuclear particles + bomb i assume)
Ohhh so the "end of the world" was gonna be everything and everyone being inversed
Ngl, I’m really starting to believe he is
I feel like that's gonna be one of the most debated things between fans

It would take a lot of effort and time for JDW to recruit and get him trained tho. That’s the only thing that has me considering it’s not the case.

Yeah i can see that plus im not sure if the ages would match up
Thematically it would make a lot of sense for it to be true though

yes, instead of objects / humans reversing EVERYTHING would reverse
Anyone else feel 0 investments in the characters, barely understood the dialogue and thought the "time travel" aspect was s***ty but still loved the movie lmao ??
Something about the movie still has me thinking about it, I'm excited for the 2nd watch.

i personally liked the characters alot actually
especially the neil + protagonist, for example when neil is going to his death and protag wants to stop him and theyre both in a different time of their relationship, that hit me
but as characters i liked them all, i think the weakest character (but also the most human one) is Kat
i didnt have trouble w the dialogue, but i watched it with dutch subs so
i LOVED the time inversion, especially during the reverse interview, s*** was insane, all over the time inversion was alot of fun, also when there are basically 3 protagonists in the pentagon thing, i loved it alot
and yes overall i loved the movie too as u can probably hear
neil telling protag that he doesnt drink during work and protag being like how u know that
bc youve been friends for YEARS fool

I felt like one place in particular where inception/memento/interstellar were better was the emotional aspect; the emotional stakes didn’t seem high, felt like a sellout(?). We didn’t know much about the protagonist lol not even his name. If interstellar didn’t have the relationship between murph and her dad I don’t think it would’ve been nearly as good. I did like tenet a lot overall though
Writing was:
50% undecipherable
40% exposition
10% cringe
Protag: "This could mean the end of the world.."
Kat: "Including my son"

Saying 50% was undecipherable is just untrue, id say about 5% was difficult to hear, i did have subtitles so

Undecipherable, Exposition, and cringe is like the nolan movie powerpuff girls formula

This theory had me so hype for tenet. Wish Nolan explored the history aspect more. I'm surprised he actually chose the dynamic between Kat, Sator and Protagonist. Felt a little cheap for Nolan

Yeah the my husband is an angry russian man who wont let me see my son storyline was meh. Great movie still but the emotional aspect was lacking
