S/T is top 10 album of all time to me. I’m sad I didn’t become a fan until ILIWYS era

Honestly, I’m really glad you guys like ABIIOR

The 1975 was on pace to become a top 10 favorite band ever for me and I wish I could like the 3rd album. I like a fair amount of songs from it but there’s just too much that I dislike.

But I’m glad others like it and I wish I could enjoy it to it’s fullest extent.

However, Notes is shaping up to be way better. Jesus Christ God Bless America and People are two of their best songs ever and Frail State of Mind is great and a bop.

Just listened to this and now I wish it was on the new album. Way better instrumental than Please Be Naked

I hope Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America is accounting on the album. That version is literally perfect and I have a fear of the album version being worse.

The 1975 EPs are legit the best EPs of all time. Never seen a band release such fire EPs before and on a consistent basis.

Then potentially hearing S/T in full would be the best show of my entire life

Then seeing ILWYS in full would be incredible because I’d finally be able to see Paris and Ballad

I just wish I discovered them in early 2016 instead of December 2016 so I could of seen them on their first ILWYS tour.

Also my friend drove 5 hours to see them in Spokane in late 2016. I would have 100% gone to that show if I knew their music. This same friend told me about them in Summer 2016 but I didn’t look them up until December 2016. Biggest music regret ever. They were on pace to become a top 10 band ever for me before their 3rd album dropped.

This is all my fault because my friend told me about them in summer of 2016 but I didn’t look them up for whatever reason.

Finally got around to completing this! I present to you my The 1975 songs tier list! I think this will show people why I think ABIIOR could be better. Yes, I do think it has bad songs but I think a large part of it is also just how much I abolsutley love the first two albums and the EP songs and that a lot of the songs on ABIIOR just don’t live up to how much I enjoy the other music.

There is one very controversial opinion in here and I’m sorry for that but I could just never get into that song.

Songs are not ordered within the tiers but by release album/track order starting with The 1975 deluxe with the EP songs after and ending with the last album ABIIOR/new singles/random tracks. There is no difference between the two SS tiers either, there are two of them because the Tiermaker symbol got in the way.

where did they say they wont put this on the album? I think at their Reading show Matty said the upcoming album title just before playing this song, I assumed it was gonna be on the album

I like a lot of this! I will fight you over that If I believe you placement though haha that's my favorite song of theirs. I would def need to switch that with something like too time, which I also I feel like I remember you hating on back on ktt1 when it dropped but I might just be mistaken with that, did you have a change of heart (pun intended) on that song over time?

If I Believe You is the song I was talking about when I said there was a hipster opinion. Seems to be a fan favorite but I just can’t get into it.

If I enjoyed IIBY and lost my head wasn’t on the album, I could look past Please Be Naked and ILWYS would be a 9.5-9.8/10 for me

And yes, I have grown to like TooTime more. I didn’t like it when it released and was pretty negative about it on KTT1. Recently I’ve been giving ABIIOR more chances and TooTime is the one song that’s grown on me a decent ammount. I still think they have way better songs but I enjoy TooTime now. And I think seeing it played live last week was the first time I truly felt like I appreciated the song. Song sounds really good live!

Does anyone feel the title track ILWYS needed more vocals? Not even a full on song but I wish the “before you go” section popped up more than once throughout the song, would be so much better.
