I finally realized why these past 2 albums are together, a brief inquiry went over his struggles with isolation, addiction, and the online world and how it affects our relationships. This album focuses more on spirituality (hence the Birthday Party video), and the themes that the album gives (first half feeling like music you'd listen to in the daytime, and the second half feeling like music you'd listen to at a party at night downtown)

I hope LP5 is like people and how they’ve described it so far but I know how quick things change for them. My tinfoil hat theory is they wanna lose some of the massive popularity they have, which notes will probably help accomplish and will also make it easier for them to play small venues again like he’s expressed he wants to do and ditch the huge stage production

Oh for sure, I think artistically it makes the most sense to go the "People" route. I don't see them losing too many more fans tbh, they already lost quite a few after ABIIOR.

Dam didn't expect 22 tracks, gonna take a while to digest but in

3rd listen. This album drags on way to long. The lyrics are terrible. The instrumental on some songs arent mixed well.

They have so much potential and they even showed it on “i like it when you sleep” album. Why are they not using it. Its so disappointing

on my second listen. there are some really great songs here and there, but a lot of it just feels like less successful rehash of things we've heard in the past. i skipped a few of the singles but omg this thing still feels endless. it feels like a 50 min album stretched out to 80 minutes (just like ILIWYS). they definitely could've done better,
but it's stilll a somewhat decent album imo

gotta admit this album is so all over the place but damn I love it

I did have a quick listen a few days ago but I reckon I need to dedicate a bit more time on it to form a concrete opinion.

That sucks, I know you were looking forward to this.. so was I tbh but the singles “if you were shy” & “frail state” are still the highlights for me. It’s a shame that they felt the need to bloat this with unnecessary tracks, does show some potential.
