Damn I just reached Track 9 and Im already super bored and uninspired by this. Then I see there are 13 more tracks left. I feel like Ive been listening for an hour already

yea maybe skip all the interludes and s***
The way this goes from Classical to Country to Ambient to Dance
thats their thing. 1975 albums process a bunch of different styles through the 1975 filter to make them all part of a unifying aesthetic, and their albums are always 20 mins too long.
its in the notes/description part on apple music/itunes after the little blurb about the album
Im not liking this. Way too many ideas. Imagine if they had gotten a clearer direction and edited the album (because some of the sound concepts are very cool) the album could've been great. A Brief Inquiry was eclectic but it still felt like one album. This one is just all over the place.
I think they can benefit from having one outside producer (like Blake Mills, Brian Eno, Stuart Price, Jonathan Rado etc...) come in and oversee the entire album process.
I also missed the traditional 1975 opening. Greta’s speech could’ve been its own thing so they could keep the original opening track.
I Like It > A Brief Inquiry > 1975 >>>> Notes
The End (Music For Cars) is so beautiful
Yeah except it has no f***ing lyrics
My favorite youtuber destroyed this album
