Beautiful decade..
Some of the best s*** and its just a small sampling + none of these have those goofy ass gated drums
The 80s are a well that contemporary artists keep going back to.
If anything the 00s was the worst decade by far. There's not much there that had any lasting influence
Thriller, Purple Rain, Don't Be Cruel came out in that decade
Literally 3 of the most iconic albums of all time smh
80s production sucks for the most part, the drums on so many albums were just so synthetic
00’s are by far the worst
One day people will become nostalgic over soulja boy crank dat and I'll cringe
This thread from a pre-coronavirus time. Back when we were much more foolish. Can’t fault any bad opinions here. They didn’t know what was coming to them.

It breaks my heart because there’s so many classic albums that are held back by the drums
Some of the best s*** and its just a small sampling + none of these have those goofy ass gated drums
UP came out in 79 so it technically doesn't count
well the two best hit songs rn are both 80s inspired so op is wrong already.
yes their was lot of crap but also lots of timeless work, maybe because 70s and 90s were super ground breaking that 80s were a bit meh for him
