There is actually a stronger argument that it's one of the best decades than it being the worst. Besides having 2 of the biggest music icons ever, it introduced computerized sounds into the mainstream, which completely revolutionized how we make music. Music today wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for trends that started in the 80s
Hate to tell you youngins, but the 2010s is the worst decade. The streaming generation completely killed artistic creativity and had everybody looking for mass/quick music creation. S***ty lyricism and catchy hooks
