Beautiful decade..
Fr, the only real criticism I have of the 80's is lazy synth pop and glam rock. Other than that the decade is full of classics.
Should've mentioned those in OP cause that's the only defense that decade has
I don’t think “only” can be used in reference to Prince and Michael Jackson in fairness bruh...
Literally the best decade.
the 2000s were dogshit
80s had the synthpop explosion, industrial music, the start of hip hop's golden age, and the prime of punk and metal
2000s had nothing. rock was corny, rap became corny in the second half of the decade, r&b was generic as f*** for the most part.
i grew up in the 2000s and s*** was toilet water. 2010s way better
1910=music started
1920-1950=classical music
1960-1970=golden age of music for old singers
1980=perfect age for rock rebels
1990=improved good music and also the year for goths and punks
2000=music is still good and gangsta songs started to appear
2001-2006=music is changing
2007=ghetto music but good and relaxing like akon dont matter
2008=some crappy music is starting to appear
2009=crappy music is spreading
2010=you gotta be kidding me this isnt music justin bieber
2011=R.l.P music goodbye...
80s had Purple Rain, Thriller, Streetcleaner, Remain in Light, Paul's Boutique, Pretty Hate Machine, Hounds of Love, Hatful of Hollow, Closer

2000s had great indie like arcade fire and vampire weekend
1980s had great alternative rock like pixies and sonic youth
oh yeah, and u2 of course
i'd say 1320's were a bit worse
Ngl, you put a gun to my head and I couldn’t name an album that came out before 1900
