Each decade has something to appreciate.

That said, I would easily toss the 90s if I had to choose.

    DriveSlow

    The 30s-40s had jazz
The 50s had rock n roll
The 60s had classic and psychedelic rock
The 70s had funk and soul
The 90s had golden age hip hop
    2000s had r&b/pop
2010s got experimental hip hop and vaporwave

The 80s had cheesy synth pop and overall aged worse than every other decade

the 80s had new wave, amazing dance pop and fantastic hooks..

easily the best decade. with the biggest larger-than-life superstars

    I hate this site

  • Mar 22, 2020

    Madonna
    MJ
    Prince

    The holy trinity.

  • Mar 22, 2020

no decade is the “worst” or “best”

  • Mar 22, 2020

Literally one of the worst threads ever made

OP name your top 5 albums of the 30s-40s

  • Mar 22, 2020

The OP hasn’t probably heard: “Dirty Mind,” “Controversy,” “1999,” “Purple Rain,” “Around the World in a Day,” “Parade,” “Dream Factory,” “Camille,” “Sign ’O’ the Times,” “The Black Album,” “Lovesexy,” & “Batman,” LMFAO.

  • Mar 22, 2020

Not to mention: “Vanity 6,” “The Glamorous Life,” “Romance 1600,” “Sheila E.,” “Jill Jones,” etc... thoroughly embarrassing.

  • Mar 22, 2020

“Never for Ever,” “The Dreaming,” “Hounds of Love,” & “The Sensual World” either...

  • Mar 22, 2020

    “Like a Prayer...”

  • Mar 22, 2020

    @DriveSlow
Take this L already, OP; come on... you’ve decided to potentially mess around with the wrong man...

That would be Miles Davis, I’m guessing; ”Star People...”
