That would be Miles Davis, I’m guessing; ”Star People...”

The fact I forgot about Leonard, though... wholeheartedly embarrassing... considering the fact that I’m Jewish... yikes.

a great chance to go back and have a listen to his earlier albums. everyone forgets about leonard, or perhaps worse ... refer to him as the "hallelujah guy"

Oh, I despise that; the blatant disrespect.

Hey what's the likely hood of a Crystal Ball box set dropping this year? I copped the 1999 vinyl box set last year and it is amazing

I’ve heard they may reissue it this year... but then again, we’d been supposed to receive the “Parade” expanded edition in 2020 as well, however, it’s been put on hold... same with the “Sign ‘O’ the Times” one, I’m guessing, although we’ll see... also, they’re planning to put out the album consisting of Prince’s various, unspecified yet, demos EXCLUSIVELY, &, as you might’ve already heard, rerelease: “The Rainbow Children,” “One Nite Alone,” “One Nite Alone... Live!,” & “The Aftershow: It Ain’t Over!” as one box set...
00’s are by far the worst
not with wayne the god in there, nice try hipster c.uck

Oh yeah I did hear about those finally coming to vinyl! Definitely gonna cop the One Nite Alone records. I feel like we've been so blessed with all these great tracks coming out as of late...Prince Estate has been doing a good job so far with these compilations coming out. Hopefully once all this corona stuff blows over we can get some sort of news about a future release.
80s had Mike and Prince
got his ass

Oh, I wouldn’t call it “a good job” whatsoever, but I mean, to each their own... as a matter of fact, the “Purple Rain” reissued, expanded edition had been thoroughly horrible, & they didn’t listen to the fans’ requests concerning the “1999” rerelease either... & moreover, the remasters themselves haven’t been “excellent” or “good” by any means either (thus far at least...) but oh, well.

Wayne’s never been “the G-d” in music per se, though; lol. The blatant delusion of yours never fails to genuinely amaze me whenever I stumble upon it... no offense.

Honestly didn't care for the remaster of Purple Rain...everything just sounded louder. I did like the 1999 remaster though, it feels a bit more punchier than the original master.

I mean, it is, for sure, better, from my point of view as well; the problem is that it could’ve been even better had they hired the right people to do it, though.

What specifically bothered you? Kinda curious to see what you mean.
80s gave us great albums from pixies, kate bush, the cure, joy divison, sonic youth, talking heads, mj, public enemy, new order, and the smiths
so no

I mean, it is fine... but they could’ve used better sources (i.e. the actual studio tapes)... had more talented people to remaster it (for instance, in my opinion, the live show on CD is way better than the rest of the box because David Z. has done his job, & not some guy who’s known to have mixed “Let It Go...” you know, that tune from “Frozen...”)
Honestly one of the worst takes
70s and 80s lowkey might have been pop culture’s apex because everything since has been built off of those two decades (golden age rap, most samples from 70’s soul & 80’s r&b/pop, synth pop music like when Weeknd gets in that bag)
Susan Rogers, who is, at the moment, a professor; Peggy McCreary... you know what I mean...
