SonOfNkrumahBare in mind SRS was 25 minutes and 15 tracks. A 19 track project from him would be 30 to 35 in fact. But anyway, the guys you've named have indeed dropped better albums, that goes without saying. The problem is thinking he's actually competing with them as opposed to seeing them as inspirations. When he says s*** in a recent interview like "i'm ready to be in the league NOW", what does that tell you about what his goal has been the past few years? Clearly it doesn't communicate that hes been trying to be the best rapper or put out the greatest album
What is this convoluted argument.
Earl is a great rapper. He's been doing this a decade now. We as fans are allowed to expect a better album. What else is there to say.

I don't understand why on earth you keep bringing up his interviews - what relevance to they have to the point at hand?
You yourself have agreed that woods, Quelle and ELUCID have all dropped better albums this year. So why would you, like Voyce and I, not want a better album from Earl? He can do better, surely you agree with that?

Because what he says in those interviews gives more context to the project hes put out and why this whole point you're bringing up of expecting better doesn't really hold any weight. Also, an artist you like doesn't have to put out better albums than everyone for you to consider them good. I enjoyed the album but other people made better albums. Doesn't mean i want better from him. I was happy with it. These two things can co exist, it's as simple as that
