If MIKE were to drop every verse as hard as he did on Thug Anthem, I would consider him a top 5 or 10, the way he is rapping he could easily get to that level in a few years
Be Realistic verse cleared MIKE entirely bar for bar
Honestly thought that was the weakest track. Didn’t like it when the EP dropped and it doesn’t get better in the LP
Hopefully they get a lot of love and feel a need/demand/inspiration to keep this group going
Like imagine if this is their ‘my first chemistry set’ and then they keep exploring the creative dynamic and reach their respective versions of Price of Tea, Bo Jackson, Tecmo Bo level collabs

Hate that beat

Regardless what folks may think of the beats on this, the raps is off the charts with these two

I could see it tbh
This and the Earl album been my favorite Al collabs in awhile
Wiki rapping like he got something to prove on Be Realistic
Hardest verse of the album
He was rapping like Estes Nack or like 38 spesh, he got it , he got what it takes to hold his own and maybe even shine on a Griselda tape tbh,

Wiki's album with Navy Blue last year was one of my favorites of the year tbh...Im not a fan of all his stuff but when he's paired with the right producer he goes in
Fiberoptics w Vince and Boldy would be perfect for Flying High 2 (assuming there is one)

His verse on One More is the peak of the album lyrically imo

I still think it should’ve been on Sandwich instead of Big Syke
I still think it should’ve been on Sandwich instead of Big Syke
Big Syke is kinda dirty sounding and fits on the Lunch Meat half of Sandwich. The way the bass is mixed on that song is a war crime though
2 words: rhyme schemes
Never before Mike has there been someone who rhymes this much
All of his verses on this album and basically on all albums, he says one sentence and then rhymes every syllable continuously for the entire verse and never changes the rhyme scheme
It’s just relentless. I shouldn’t even be dropping these jewels right now because he has changed my view of rapping more than anyone since doom, he’s that innovative, his style is completely unprecedented
You peeped lol
Love what he did on As 4 Me

I thought I missed something because I don't remember a song called Fiberoptics, turns out I did there's a whole Vince EP out there
I can't be the only person who swears by So It Goes, Wiki93, Lil Me, and No Mountains in Manhattan and only kinda likes everything wiki has put out since, including Half God
wiki is still my favorite modern rapper but I cant help but feel like something's missing after his XL leave
wiki breaking up with sport was a tragedy and then Secret Circle falling through too
imagine the music we coulda had if those two projects kept going

Do you know why they stopped working together? I remember Hak was the reason Ratking ended but idk why him and Wik stopped collabing

Sporting Life had some allegations and what not. Seems to have disappeared.
Did do an EP before all that with a track, Crux, with Wiki and MIKE. Well worth a listen.

I love No Mountains. Probably still my favourite Wiki solo. Liked Oofie a lot too. Was dissapointed with Half God. Could barely get through Cold Cuts. Really enjoyed Telephonebooth.
Haven't revisited Wik93 or Lil Me in a long long time to have a valid opinion. So It Goes is a classic of course.

I agree with this. So It Goes is a
NY masterpiece. His solo work after that hasn't reached those same highs. No Mountain in Manhattan was alright though.
