idk if current Em could even pull off a great album with Alc anymore
i honestly think 2009 relapse era em and 2009 alchemist was the window

!https://youtu.be/kPpGWb9frX4?si=4iMU8tffUG3xT6sKa fair argument
not saying I wouldn't be interested in hearing it currently just to see if Alc can pull some greatness out that dude still
a fair argument

Nah em is a lost cause at this point
I don’t need a whole project of wasted Alchemist beats
He also got a Al beat on his last album and it’s probably the worst beat I’ve heard Al make in a decade. I put all the blame on em for that one tho

Em touches every beat he gets. He'd ruin the s*** anyway.

Yeah definitely not my favorite
I’m taking it over that em song tho lol
Will say the mix of this whole project feels a lil off, like it's too low? Dunno if anyone else is hearing that. Excellent follow up to Pt 1 makes me wish RIP Tracy was on this one instead.

Every single Alc project mixed by Eddie Sancho has this problem
It’s crazy how much Great Escape has stuck with me, insane replayability man it’s too good. Might be my fav thing he’s done this year which is crazy

If it’s too low, wouldn’t that be the master and not the mix?

Same question as above
I think Alchemist is goes for a warm and uncompressed vintage sound in contrast to loudness war mixes, kind of like J Cole was doing on a couple albums where his volume was a lot lower than usual stuff.
I don’t usually have any issue with it, I just turn it up a little louder if I have to.
Faith is a Rock is truly something special man
By and far AOTY so far
I just don't love Mike & Wiki like that.

Same although I will say I kinda hate when Al’s drums don’t have a lot of crunch to them or just the overall beat has that super muffled sound
I think there’s a good balance between really warm, kinda lofi and that crispy clean more modern sound
Royal hand is so f***ing mean boldy's name was all over that beat but I'm glad we got Gangrene back on it. Al's flow is vicious on all these tracks but Vertigo is the winner for me. I hope he puts out videos for all of these songs like he did for Flying High 1. I thought that was a nice touch.
