honestly on the wiki and earl projects, its really not him at the top of his game. A lot of his output lately has been very standard autopilot alc and is missing the spice and variety that makes his collab albums usually fire, both of those albums dont have a "falling out the sky" level of uniqueness to any of the beats
its either some type of 2 bar instrumental loop, a vocal loop or the same type of piano with some drums

Yeah sure he didn’t produce the 90s classics, Doesn’t have a million hits or have a album as influential as Madvilliany but he’s been the most consistent producer for the last decade. Constantly working, Putting out multiple dope albums every year and most of the time there’s always one that’s in peoples hip hop album of the year list or fighting for that spot. Not to mention he’s been a core figure (honestly THE core figure) in the underground scene for the last 14 years.

When it comes to sample based production he’s undeniably top 5 oat in my eyes and deserves that spot with all the other legendary guys
