canât believe Thailand can have normal rolling loud but Australia cant
The fact they charged 300 bucks without lineup is cooked
Id guess it has something to do with our strict visa situation
optus you dog c***s
terrible company

I'd only go for PND and Majid Jordan, if DVSN was there I'd but tickets asap
praying for Smino and Majid Jordan sideshows

don't think so, 2018 - jan 2020 (check the field day lineup) had a huge number of quality (and importantly, first time) acts
would be more cost/effort related. a long way to come for 3-4 shows and AU market seems less willing to part with big $ compared to the US (and probably Europe). so you don't get the volume or margin out here
the dropoff in quality/variety of hip hop artists at festivals has been particularly bad.

this was hilarious and so predictable
i don't think the 'actual' rolling loud even posted anything about it, I'm guessing they just licensed out the branding to a local promoter who obviously underestimated the logistical effort involved
the lineup they got in 2019 was actually pretty good all things considered although rae sreummurd / yg / tyga had all been to Aus plenty of times by then.
crazy to see carti was fifth last on the setlist!! i remember checking every the ig story of anyone he might have travelled with to see he was actually getting on the plane

Why / do you think it affects hip hop disproportionately?

Like 90% of the artists come from one country and they can get what they need from a performance/touring perspective domestically especially as hip hop has become the dominant popular music genre
The âreturn on effortâ for coming to Aus has never been lower. And itâs a genre that doesnât place a lot of importance on live performing to begin with

the returns I heard from medium sized shows (which most of them do) is not worth it for them come down here. They struggle to break even.
also feel like Aussie audience have became very fickle on who they wanna see.
that final was one of the best matches played by any Australian team, close to perfect execution in every facet of the game despite trying conditions
i went to city yesterday for bit black friday shopping and i donât think i seen it that busy since pre covid
sales were ehhh
dekmental is coming to melbourne

he's getting bad advice, if the reported figure of $450k x 2 is true that is horrific unders, could be a million dollar player in Japan.
i am not surprised he is leaving but the destination is odd
