what do you like to do in Sydney/on holiday in general

honestly shopping, eating out, going to beach, going out bars/nightclubs

shopping: depends what you're into but some different types of options that are Melbourne specific are Up There & Supply Store (streetwear), Top Floor Gallery (luxury/high fashion, second hand), Masons (high fashion), I always thought Sydney had more interesting shops though

eating out: Depends on what type of food you're after but there's heaps of good options, Carlton for Italian food (Leonardo's is my favourite, its a pizza place), Springvale/Richmond for Asian food (Hoa Tran is my favourite, its a Chinese/Viet place), Oakleigh for Greek food (Kalimera is my favourite), there's some good "modern Australian/seafood" restaurants around South Yarra if you want something fancy and unique, I only went once but Bacash was pretty cool, there's cafe options pretty much everywhere you go too

beach: I haven't gone to the beach in Melbourne since I was a kid, I don't remember it often being warm here over Easter regardless but a bit more out of the city is better imo, meaning not St Kilda

bars/nightclubs: again depends on what you like, I haven't tried to find bars I like here and I don't go out to them that much, so I would just Google around a bit for it
