I think you'd love the Batman 89 comic series. A continuation of the Tim Burton world that also draws from the well of his ideas for Batman 3.

once they started doing all that corny s*** it really ruined the entire movie for me and I am not even kidding.
Penguin was cool though . The main advertised villain turned into an wannabe joker hyped up by 4chan and an absolute joke that nearly assasinated a major doing something for the poor. After starting the whole riddler journey because he was an orphan

logically you would think he would continue to attack the rich and maybe work with other poor orphans wanting to change thingsNOPE
he hired whatever bigot he can find online and floods the poor
Dark knight really done irreversible damage to batman as a whole.
