How are ppl seeing this like 3x within a short period lol
I PUSH MYSELF (underlined) like the Batman

Justice, the answer is Justice
Batman dealing with crime world in Gotham
Batman amongst God's in justice league
in the cartoon they actually handle this really well
Bruh on my rewatch I lowkey teared up during the hope speech at the end
My girl saw it and been giving me s*** about it for the past week

two weeks of staying late at the theatre watching batman have turned me into a nocturnal animal

Yeah I'd buy that. CRtoon series and even the movies tend to handle stories far better than the movie counterparts
Prime example is suicide squad assault on arkham, it introduces the squad, establishes relationships and rivalries and eventual backstabs, gives them a logical grounded mission that makes sense for why they d be used, uses batman as a mythic boogeyman stalking them throughout, and establishes joker as main villain by the end. The perfect blue print for a suicide squad movie. Then the movie comes out and completely fumbles that scenario

yeah i guess its just a function of budget right? (more budget = more suits dictating what sells) cause all the DC animated s*** actually takes a second to slow down and create believable stakes.
whereas the movies are like, hey remember these 8 things from comics? we sure do and we dont give a f*** if their inclusion is necessary or tonally cogent!

Copy and paste pieces of different scripts, last minute cuts and edits ect, and they never learn from their mistakes lol
Literally don’t know how you could do a batman movie better than this
Feels like it hit everything
Really hope we don’t get a sequel tho I love where it ended with them throwing us a little bone + his hope speech

A more refined bruce wayne - multi billionaire/matured, cleaner execution, a deeper mystery, a darker plot?

Tru more Bruce would only help. I love the way they handled Bruce here tho.
A unique take on it that fits the character well imo + gave them a great excuse to minimize Bruce time and maximize bats time

darker plot? mf you want rape on screen or what? movie is dark as f***
Only problem I see with Pattinson’s Bruce transitioning to the “billionaire playboy” persona is how they’d do it. The way this Bruce is portrayed is that he has spent the majority of his life away from the public eye, what is gonna change that and how are they going to approach that change?
