In a move that ought to make fans of The Beatles twist and shout, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Oscar-winning filmmaker Sam Mendes and his Neal Street Productions have set plans to make four separate theatrical films, one on each of the members of music’s most famous and enduring band.
Mendes will direct all four of the films, and this marks the first time Apple Corps Ltd. and The Beatles – Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and the families of John Lennon and George Harrison – have granted full life story and music rights for a scripted film.
Mendes conceived this grand vision. He’ll tell interconnected stories, one from each band member’s point of view.
Each one of us should make a separate thread for all 4. Me you mac and someone else

You got an idea there…
somebody mentioned a 4-movie KISS biopic about every member, same way they had their solo albums coming out simultaneously. sounds like a much much much better idea tbh
top five (unordered):

When the fourth movie ends and we get hit with…
JOHN WILL RETURN
Movie 1: Harrison
Movie 2: McCartney
Movie 3: Ringo
Movie 4: Lennon
And at the end of the fourth movie, u see a post credits scene where John Lennon rises from the grave
And then they release like a really camp quadrilogy with zombie Lennon and his wacky adventures
Insanely trash. Ballad of John and Yoko as a top 5 pick gives “I overplayed the actual better stuff and just discovered Past Masters” energy respectfully. Slightly overrated now by people who feel just want to make a not obvious pick but it’s becoming more obvious

I’m not surprised tbh
It’s more surprising The Beatles haven’t had a biopic made about them
A movie about each of them is a really fire idea
Gonna have to do a lot of extra PR for the John movie though since “Wife Beater” is the general consensus for Gen Z.

a Ringo biopic is crazy lmfaooo
