Watching Paul just come up with Get Back on the spot and then everyone else jump in like it was something they had been practicing was crazy
Crazy how every Earth Wind and Fire version of beatles records is better than the orginals done by the Beatles
paul’s get back moment
also when he was starting to put together the long and winding road while that guy keeps talking to him about unrelated nonsense had me
Halfway through part 2, imagine if they had this much footage for everything from Sgt. Pepper onwards. This is incredible even for the album that many consider their worst since Rubber Soul.
Paul was a cool motherfucker his energy and aura was just fire
when he was singing as elvis
Watching them draft the Abbey Road demos while working in Let It Be plus the early demos of songs that would end up on their solo albums a year later is so cool. All Things Must Pass was originally for Let It Be. That's crazy.
Brilliant documentary. Just phenomenal. So many highlights, from watching Paul McCartney create Get Back on the spot, to the back and forth between them all, to Billy Preston lighting a fire under their asses, to Ringo just being a sweetheart etc.
Really intriguing to watch them not only conceive some of their classics, but also go to show how uninvolved Yoko actually was. And the real beef was between Paul and George, not Paul and John.
Damn, Paul really was the man. Musically he clearly was more naturally gifted and he seemingly is the only one that is trying to get s*** done. Must have been hard to deal with people being so disrespectful and ungrateful.
He carried this

He is OWED some checks tbh lol
I wonder how long he had to be that dude? Seemed like he damn near wrote every song too lol imagine the Beatles is just Paul with some casual input from the others
