Young DShooters: Bojan and Burks and Harris and Monte Morris were supposed to be very well established shooters entering the season, injuries and inconsistent play came unexpectedly though. The hope was Stewart would shoot 35% this year also…and he’s shooting 39% on 3.6 attempts a game.
Vets: those first 4 guys I mentioned for shooters were supposed to be our vets too. Again, injuries and inconsistent play tho.
Spacing: see shooting
Culture: we’ve been losing non stop for like 3 years and there has been not a single peep about locker room problems, all reports talk about how our young core are all absolute grinders that try to lift each other up and are all great people
Cade: for the first 3 weeks or so, yeah he struggled but this is what he’s averaged over the last 30 days while CONSTANTLY facing double and triple teams because he’s the only one opposing defenses take seriously:
46% FG shooting, nearly 5 FTs a game shooting 88% from the line, 4 boards, 7 assists, 3 TOs (down 2 from what he started the year) 23 points
He still has a ways to go, but he just turned 22 3 months ago, and this is basically his second NBA season.
I hear you, but everything is could’ve, would’ve, should’ve. You put no accountability on general management, coaching, or ownership. Or even the players
This is a badly constructed team
The coach is not making adjustments and is not inspiring the team
