you know you've gone too far into the em hate mob when you think Nelly released a better album that year

8 mile and TES both came out in 2002. Em was on top of the world

It had to be true cause its the only time I openly played an Eminem album. Like, in front of people I know.

His 3rd project, mostly self produced, TES is the album that made any naysayers take him seriously and cemented Em as one of the GOAT's. It hits on so many different angles and does everyone of them well.

Nothing else that year could f*** with it

Eminem making beats is such a Mandela effect.. like wtf. I went years without knowing he made beats!??? That's so f***ing weird.

Lord Willin came out in 2002. I’ve actually never listened to it though I just know it’s critically acclaimed. And I’m actually white.(I’m black btw)

That was his year and I've stated before that TES is my favorite Em album, but it's still not cracking Top 10 of 2002.

You're hating if you really believe that lol.

You might not think it was number 1 but it was easily top 10. Top 5 even.

Nah, man. I genuinely f*** with several other 2002 rap albums over TES. Even though I have a lot of nostalgia with that album, it's just not enough for me to place it higher on the list.

I'm not going off nostalgia tho.

It was that good. Em was going off lyrically. No one else that year had a better album bar for bar.

And the only features he got were from Dre and his own artists. No Jay-Z cheat codes, no Kanye West beats, no Pharrell on the hook.
